About me
I graduated from the University of Tartu with a Master’s degree in Psychology in 2006 and have since worked as a psychologist, trainer, and facilitator of various therapy and rehabilitation programmes.
My extensive professional experience covers addictive behaviours, mental health, sexuality, and relationships.
I have worked with both individuals and groups and trained psychologists, social workers, justice system professionals, healthcare professionals, and others.


Professional experience:
Since 2020, I have worked at Confido Medical Centre and in my private practice.
From 2006 to 2020, I worked as a psychologist at Tartu Prison, and from 2016 to 2020 at Viljandi Hospital Foundation.
In addition, from 2012 to 2016, I worked as an internet marketing project manager.

Training Experience
In-house training. Since 2020, I have organised information sessions for Confido employees on addiction treatment and sexuality counselling. The sessions take place once or twice a year, as needed.

Estonian Annual Psychology Conference 2026: Think Healthy, Work Healthy! Spring 2026. Participation in a panel discussion on creating an environment where everyone can contribute and remain in employment.
“Free from Tobacco and Nicotine” webinar. In February 2026, I delivered training commissioned by the National Institute for Health Development for family doctors and nurses on using psychological interventions in addiction treatment.
Psychoeducational lectures. From 2016 to 2020, as part of Viljandi Hospital’s “Sober and Healthier Estonia” project, I delivered weekly one-hour lectures for people with alcohol dependence, their loved ones, and professionals working with addiction.
Training for addiction rehabilitation programme facilitators. Since 2011, commissioned by the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, I have trained social workers, psychologists, and probation officers to facilitate a CBT-based group programme designed to change addictive behaviour. Training is commissioned once or twice a year, as needed.
Training for sexual offender rehabilitation programme facilitators. Since 2015, commissioned by the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, I have trained professionals to facilitate a group programme aimed at reducing the risk of sexual reoffending. Training takes place as needed, usually once a year.
Facilitator training for “Creating and Maintaining Safe Relationships”. Since 2013, I have trained social workers, psychologists, and probation officers to facilitate a group programme designed to prevent family and intimate partner violence. Training was usually commissioned once a year, most recently in 2020.
Supervision for group facilitators. Since 2013, commissioned by the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences, I have supervised facilitators of social programmes delivered within the prison system. The aim is to support facilitators and strengthen their professional knowledge and skills. The workload depends on the number of participants in the training groups.
